It's crazy that he is now 1. He has been walking for about a month and a half. He says mama and uhoh. He loves his brothers and mom, but especially his daddy! For his birthday, we had Aunt Emily and Aunt Amy come over from Cedar City. Uncle John, Aunt Lindsay and Joseph, and the Borrowmans were all there to celebrate his birthday. Grandma and Grandpa Humphries came the Sunday before because Aunt Kristi was going to have her twins and they had to be there to help with that.

Joshua also loves phones and remotes. He will get a phone and put it to his ear like he is talking on it. He also loves to hang out his tongue. He waves goodbye and points to things he wants. He is doing good being weaned from mom. He likes his bottle though, so we might be trading one battle for another. We love our Joshua so much! He is so much fun and just as crazy as his brothers.

Joshua loves birthday cake

Baby in a Box

One night I was sitting in my bedroom in the rocking chair and along comes Joshua. Melissa and Emily made great impromptu costumes. It was lots of fun. Then we got pj's from Grandma and Grandpa and opened their present from them. The only problem was is that we all have had the stomach flu, all of us but Davin. We arrived on the evening of the 13th in Detriot and Warren Monday, Michael's dad treated us to pizza because he was watching Melissa's kids while she came and picked us up from the airport. That night Hyrum threw up in Melissa's bed and then the next day Bridger threw up and had the runs. Then the day after that James was sick, then on Thursday Melissa and I were sick. We thought that we were going to have a break of sickness, and we went to the Air Force Museum in Dayton on Friday, which was really cool, but Doug's stomach was starting to cramp up and by the time we got back to Lima, he was feeling pretty sick. He only had a mild case of it and was better by Saturday. On Saturday morning, Alden woke up throwing up. He did his best to say he wasn't sick so he could go and play with his cousins. That morning we went to a parade at a local college in Ada and then we went over to the college and they had a bunch of free booths for the kids. They got to decorate cookies, eat free ice cream, Davin got his face painted, got free little polar bears, and balloon swords & hats. Then on Saturday afternoon we went to a corn maze. It was lots of fun. It took us about 2 hours to get thorough it. The maze had stamps and clues along the way that we had to find and if you got your entire card filled out, you got a prize, which was a sticker or a sucker, and one shot with the corn gun. We were suppposed to go on a hay ride and pick out a pumpkin, but we got out of the corn maze too late. It was really fun! It was also pretty cold, but the kids didn't seem to mind the cold. They loved it. There was also rubber duck races that they could do and we took some fun pictures by some wooden mules. They made apple cider there that was so very delicious. Thobe stopped crying and said ok and they went down stairs and played. It was pretty funny.
